Adapting to Farmers Market Closures

Happy Days at the University District Farmers Market, Seattle WA.

Happy Days at the University District Farmers Market, Seattle WA.

During the Coronavirus Pandemic we are all doing the best we can to adjust to the strange new reality we find ourselves living in. Here on the farm, our daily chores go on as usual; sheep need to be fed and milked, milk needs to be made into cheese, and that cheese needs to be aged and cared for. Where things have really changed for the Glendale Shepherd family is the Seattle area farmers markets closing down. We miss our customers, and our weekly trips to the city to see our big market family of farmers and friends! So here we are, launching into the unknown territory of e-commerce. We are beginning by offering online ordering, payment and the choice of drop off/pick up at the following locations:

Saturdays: Bayview Hall, Whidbey Island 10-11 am.

Glendale Shepherd Farm Store, Clinton 11am - 4 pm.

We hope this will help a little during this very unsettling time we’re in. Stay well, stay safe and thank you for supporting local farmers.
