Visiting the Farm
Visit our farm for a unique opportunity to see a small-scale family farm and learn about how we make our award winning cheese. We are a working farm and do not have a dedicated staff for the store or tours. While we are busy, we still love visitors and are happy to share our farm and cheese with you!
Experience our farm during a unique and enjoyable farm stay. We have created a camping site that is available to book through "Hipcamp" and we have a newly refurbished studio apartment that is available through "Airbnb". Hike the trails, arrange a tour of the farm, and be sure to try our cheese!
Year round farm store and tasting hours are Sunday, from 11am to 4pm, no appointment necessary. If we're not in the store when you arrive, be assured that Glendale Shepherd staff is always nearby. Check out the signage for details when you arrive.
For additional insight into our farm and cheeses, take a tour with us. Our farm tour offers an in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at how we make our award-winning cheese. This package includes a 60-minute guided tour of our farm and dairy, and concludes with a guided cheese tasting of our seasonal offerings. While visiting our farm you will learn about the life cycle of our animals, our Animal Welfare Approved (AWA) practices that ensure our animals are treated with high welfare and managed with the environment in mind, and the challenges and opportunities in small scale dairy production.
Reservations are required. The cost is $20/person with a 2 person minimum. Please fill out this form to request a reservation.
